Background:

Simon completed an MD(Res), MSc in Surgical Technology and Orthopaedics, BSc(Hons) all at Imperial College. He has also completed two PgCert and a PgDip in computer navigated knee arthroplasty and radiological interventions around the knee using ultrasound.

As part of his academic training, he was awarded the prestigious Surgical fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Simon has received International recognition with prizes and awards for his research. Most recently the gold medal James Joyce award at ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine) held in Lyon 2015 and best International paper nomination in Shanghai 2017. Other high profile awards include the Norman Capener Award, Ethicon Foundation Award, HCA International Award and Zimmer Arthroplasty Fellowship Award.
